About MeI started house sitting and pet sitting in 2009 because I moved away from my dog, Luigi. He lives with my parents and I don't get to visit him as often as I would like, so I find a lot of joy in spending time with other people's pets.
Animals have always been an interest for me, since I grew up with an array of different pets in my home including gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, goldfish, a snail, dogs, cats, and a parakeet named Seatbelt.
When I have a consultation with a pet owner, I like to get a feel for the usual routine. It's very important for you to tell me everything you can about your pet's normal meal time, play time, and other habits. Animals are very sensitive to change so I pay close attention to even the smallest detail to keep your pet balanced and healthy.

My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are gone. At the same time, I know how it feels to worry when someone else is taking care of a pet. That's why I like to send detailed emails about the cute things your pet is doing. Nine times out of ten you will get an email saying your pet is curled up in bed with me after a long play session.
When I'm not sitting, I enjoy camping, reading, and participating in 5k walks for charity. My favorite events are the Furry 5k and the Dog-A-Thon to support animal shelters in the area.
